Oscar and I have been out filming the aerial shots for the Emerson film. The wind has died down, the weather more or less perfect but a lot of water standing out in the marshes and alder carr. Seeing the world from an elevated plane is an amazing experience, the landscape takes on a unique characteristic. Also, filming instead of stills, the criteria and compositional elements are radically different and the 'moving' aspect allows you far more leeway in terms of content. It's all in the editing.
