Lock Keepers Houses

In 2010 I spent ten days helping a friend navigate the French canals from Reims to the River Rhone. I spent my time photographing the lock keepers houses and, captivated by the subtle shifts in the landscape of their architecture, began to register each building as an evolution of the other, where their differences became their similarities.
