Katarzyna Coleman is the Morandi of Great Yarmouth, a painter and artist of severe perseverance and precision. Pared down from intricate drawings the spaces she conjures are stripped to the detail that defines necessity and radiate a deep understanding of a territory she has made her own. In 2006 I had the good fortunate of doing a joint residency around Great Yarmouth's urban landscape and currently Katarzyna is exhibiting at Mandell's Gallery in Norwich until Saturday 31st March.
