There's beauty in the beast slicing over the landscape with raw precision. The much heralded 'Beast from the East' was to good for the media to ignore, creating in its meticulous way as much wind as did the storm from Siberia. In a region where snow is a novelty, its arrival has a transformative blend and I was fortunate to find myself on the edges of Halvergate Marshes as the drama reached its high point.
