Christmas

Christmas is this family gathering, it rises and falls, the generations grow, move on, grow again, too many, becomes unmanageable, fragments and gathers elsewhere. To the next ground where tradition lingers a little longer. The banter, the 'ribbing', the dynamics shift a few shades, the menu resists change, dress becomes less suited and mobile phones have crept in to the table 'must haves'.
