Last Tuesday and two great launches by two great friends. Patricia Daunt's book, The Palace Lady's Summerhouse published by Cornucopia Books, and Colin Self's latest collages exhibited at the Mayor Gallery. Patricia's book is a beautiful insight of a past existence as seen through Turkey's historic buildings along the Bosphorus and deep in to Anatolia. Colin's collages exact the precision and humour of an artists' kaleidoscopic mind brought to bear on the every day ... both fabulous!
