Finding Emerson Open Art Competition 2021-2022
Part of the Finding Emerson Photo Festival
The People's Archive of Great Yarmouth launched during the Finding Emerson Open Art Competition in 2021. This year the Archive is excited to be involved with, Paint The Town, a Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Borough wide arts, culture, heritage, and food event running from Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th March, 2022.
Paint The Town is inviting photographers from all walks of life - professional, amateur, student, artist, or just passionate observers of the world we inhabit - to submit images from across the Borough of Great Yarmouth, celebrating the diverse nature of the place and its people.
A selection panel made up of Debby Besford, Mark Cator and Ricardo Foncesca will choose several images to be printed and displayed at various locations throughout the town, along with a showreel of images that will be on display at PRIMEYARC during Debby's exhibition, The Art of Roller Skating.

Photographs submitted will be selected for the People's Archive of Great Yarmouth, which is running from 2021 - 2025.
